Pokémon GO increases max Pokémon and Item Storage Limits by 500

Pokémon GO increases max Pokémon and Item Storage Limits by 500!

Great news for PokeTrainers! Pokémon GO has officially increased the maximum storage capacity for both Pokémon and items. You can now expand your storage to an impressive 9,300 Pokémon and 8,300 items!

Updated Storage Limits

  • Pokémon Storage: Increased from 8,800 → 9,300
  • Item Storage: Increased from 7,800 → 8,300

How to Upgrade Storage

You can purchase additional storage from the in-game shop at the following cost:

  • 200 PokéCoins for every 50 Pokémon storage increase
  • 200 PokéCoins for every 50 item storage increase

Note: Prices in PokéCoins are consistent across regions though local currency costs may vary.

Why This Matters

This much-requested update gives Trainers more room to:

  • Stockpile rare Pokémon for trades, Leagues, or Raids.
  • Keep items like PokéBalls, berries, and raid passes ready for events.

This increase is a welcome addition for those who always seem to max out their storage. This update has you covered whether you’re a collector, a hardcore raider, or just someone who can’t let go of a perfect IV Pokémon.

So, who’s ready to hoard all the Pokémon and items they can?
